Hey!
At this moment of writing this I'm pondering what to do with my career as an animator. At the best I was working at an independent developer in Göteborg (Gothenburg) as an animation intern. That experience was sweet but I didn't excel there so I'm left humbled but a bit empty handed. Schools over and I'm hoping that I'll get a late bachelors diploma in Media, but even that is not 100% sure.
So what to do right now?
Well, I'm rigging some xsi-stuff for my friends at Coilworks and hopefully I'll start animating soon! I'm really excited about this project!
I've also gained access to my former schools Mocap-studio where I plan to do wild things... Wild things... I'm inspired by friend who's crunching day and night at a major developer and another friend who's kicking down doors trying to land his first job, yelling "I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!". I'm also very inspired by the guys in Poland, People Can Fly, who does really fun neat stuff with mocap. Linky here
Sooo why am I writing this here? Well, I'm planning to document myself and I hope to really live up to the weekly part of this blog and challenge myself to do stuff!
If someone actually reads this I'll apologize for not having something interesting to post like an actual animation. *Welds the doors shut*
This is the weekly animation challenge where I challenge myself to do different types of animations. So from here on out I'll try post my workflow and wips!

First post - Ball bounce
First post! I'm playing around with animation and hope to one day work in the field of game animations soon!
So I've studied computer game development for the past three years now and I'm currently trying to get my bachelor's degree. I've tried modeling and texturing briefly but found myself intrigued by animating because of the control and how close you work in the production line.
Other than animation I try to draw, roleplay and geek out on pretty much everything. I also help host a swedish podcast, Cocktailpartyeffekten, once in a while.
Planning on many more to come so stay tuned!
First off, the bouncing ball! Only have the first motionblur revision and the final revision. So pretty basic stuff I made when I tried to help a guy with his bounce animation and got psyched to do my own.

Final revision:
Also made a little tutorial picture to go with the animation.
